For his own agricultural contracting business, Eddie Staines began constructing agricultural bale trucks. Eddie decided to build his own trailer because he couldn’t locate one of the quality and design he wanted. It wasn’t long before local contractors and farmers spotted Eddie’s trailers and requested him to build one for them, and we’ve never looked back. That was in 1992, and the company has grown steadily since then through word of mouth and referrals. The company is now known as one of the most reliable agricultural and trailer manufacturers in the United Kingdom.
We continue to build agricultural trailers at our headquarters in Torrington, Devon, and have expanded into the construction sector, working on some of the country’s most significant projects.
Staines also operates a national hire company with one of the largest fleets of tractors, bowsers, and trailers in the UK.
