Aberdeen Bypass

The Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route (AWPR), unofficially also the City of Aberdeen Bypass, is a major road that wraps around the city of Aberdeen, Scotland. The road stretches north from Stonehaven through Kincardineshire and crosses both the River Dee and River Don before terminating at Blackdog.

With a total length of 58km of dual carriageway, the AWPR was the biggest infrastructure project in Europe at the time.

Working closely with PJ Davidsons the market leaders in their ability to slipform and pave large amounts of highway at consistent quality with high outputs. Both our hire and engineering department worked closely to overcome logistical requirements to improve both onsite manufacturing facilities and efficiency of supply to maintain high outputs for paving operations over the 58Km site.

Supplying over 20 custom designed tractor towed dump trailers, a wide range of specialist attachments and engineered equipment to aid with onsite manufacture of rebar mesh’s.
