Hinkley Point C is the latest Nuclear Power station to be built in the UK, situated near Bridgwater, this is currently the largest Construction Project in the UK.
Staines Hire have been a major supplier of Self Drive and Operated Tractors, Bowsers and Trailers to HPC Contractors for the past 6 years. We have also provided bespoke trailers that have been designed and manufactured by our inhouse engineering department, to meet all our customer specifications and requirements.
Hinkley Point C is making incredible progress on-site in terms of construction, and we have had the pleasure of working on some very interesting section of the project with many of the HPC Contractors.
The works we have been involved in to name just a few, range from specialist award winning transportable grouting systems, working on earthwork stabilisation. To John Deere gators working in the cooling tunnels as personal transport and first aid rescue vehicles. With 500+ projects to date within the site the unique items of equipment we have provided are beyond vast.
All our operators are fully qualified, and security passed, with the necessary training and accreditation required to be able to work on this Nuclear Site safely and efficiently. All our trailers and equipment are fully compliant with site Health and Safety regulations.
